The Delta Taper Camo Clear utilizes clear Polyurethane over an ultra supple camo core - perfect for those situations when extreme stealth are key to success. This line casts delicately and blends in perfectly with surrounding aquatic vegetation. Features micro loops on both ends for easy connections.

Tip and front taper:  The extra long front taper helps present flies at any distance with minimal disturbance to the water surface.

Belly:  The moderate length belly section helps provide the widest optimal casting range.

Rear Taper:  The color-marked rear taper is moderately long at 10′ to help carry long casts and keep them stable – minimizing surface crash

Rigging tips:

• Small to medium wet flies:  9′ – 15′ monofilament or Trout (or Salmon) PolyLeader in densities from intermediate to extra super fast sink + tippet

Climate Control - Standard

Despite the name, there’s nothing standard about our super tough Polyurethane coating.  With higher energy and slight stiffness for longer casts, we use this polymer on most of our long casting lines.

As originators of Density Compensation in Sinking lines, TDC –Total Density Compensation – raises the bar on density control regardless of line type. Controlling the volume and density of each coating, our dual layer PolyFuse XT process creates technically advanced lines with pinpoint accuracy.

For true high buoyancy floaters or sinking lines with sink rates you can rely on, look out for the TDC logo.

100% PVC Free

The original “PVC Free” Polymer coated fly lines, we at Airflo utilize solvent free Polyurethane as the base material in all our fly lines. When we originally researched our coating technology over 20 years ago, we wanted the best possible fly line material available. A coating that would be stronger than our competitors, could resist DEET and ultimately fight off the long term effects of UV. Polyurethane provided us with this and much, much more.
