We stopped carrying the 50 yard spools that were $11.99 as most anglers don’t use near that much mono/nylon tippet within a year, which is when it starts going bad (getting weaker). Fluorocarbon tippet stays strong for many years, as it doesn’t biodegrade very quickly. That is why us anglers need to be especially good about making sure little pieces of flouro we use get thrown away! Please do the same with mono/nylon tippet but be especially good about it with fluoro.
