A re-modeled classic Hardy fly reel. The Hardy Marquis was a main stay of the Hardy line for many years. This new edition features numerous improvements to the original, including subtle updating of the classic style with an indented regulator button, increased porting, and improved regulation range.

The #6 Marquis is best suited for a 4 or 5 weight fly rod, and the #7 is best suited for a 5 or 6 weight. The Salmon #1 is perfect for spey rods up to #6 weight, with the Salmon #2 being for 6+ weight spey rods. The Marquis is a great intro into Hardy reels as it's not super expensive, and also you can palm it which helps people get used to fishing steelhead with just a clicker as your drag.
