Providing heavy-duty support and protection for the most demanding wading, the Foot Tractor is the most durable, highest-performing wading boot possible; with Vibram® Idrogrip sole for all-around traction. Co-developed with Danner® and handcrafted in Portland, Oregon, with imported parts.

• Full-Grain Leather

  Durable, waterproof, full-grain leather with a PFC-free tanning process for improved resistance to breakdown, even in salt water; leather can be reconditioned

• Durable Construction

  Tough 1,000-denier nylon paneling provides excellent abrasion resistance

• Adjustable Lacing System

  Lacing system has eyelets across forefoot and speed lacing through the ankle; top single hook for easy on/off; hardware is nylon coated for corrosion resistance

• Quick Drain/Quick Dry

  Perforated drains on both sides of boot upper clear water quickly; for faster dry times, upper design is free from unnecessary foams and backers

• Stitchdown Construction

  Stitchdown construction creates a wider platform for more stability, helps protect the boot sidewall and allows the boots to be resoled by Danner®

  Molded bi-fit board combines the shank, lasting board and midsole into a single piece that reduces weight without sacrificing comfort and support

• Sole Details

  Vibram® Idrogrip sole developed for maximum grip on wet surfaces; aluminum bars are hard enough to cut through slime and soft enough to conform to rock surfaces

  • Upper: full-grain leather with 1,000-denier 100% nylon paneling

  • Lining: 67% polyester/33% nylon

  • Top midsole: 8IR rubber

  • Lower midsole: polyether polyurethane

  • Outsole: Vibram® Idrogrip with aluminum bars

  These are by far the most durable wading boots ever made, as I’ve had mine for 5+ years and they have no signs of slowing down! Had to change out the aluminum (they come with an extra set of bars), and the aluminum bar is by far the best grip ever made. Not made for hiking miles every day in them, but these are all I wear winter steelhead fishing, as well as when wading the Deschutes and Umpqua. One of our guides is still wearing his after 5 seasons guiding here in the Fall, Winter, and Spring and every day up in Alaska during the summer.

  Danner® boots are built to accommodate additional layers such as wader booties or socks, so we suggest choosing your regular street-shoe size.
